FAQ LIST

Allergies, intolerances & dietary requirements

Our cooking classes use eggs and dairy products as essential ingredients in several of our core recipes. Unfortunately, we are therefore unable to accommodate guests with severe allergies or intolerances to eggs or dairy, and the class is not suitable for vegans.

Vegetarians are very welcome. We can adapt the menu and offer plenty of delicious vegetarian alternatives.

If you have any other food allergy or intolerance, please let me know before booking. I will do my best to accommodate your needs and will let you know in advance whether this is possible.

Please note that the class takes place in a shared home kitchen where different ingredients and allergens are handled. Although reasonable care is taken, I cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or the complete absence of cross-contact. If you have a severe or potentially life-threatening food allergy, please contact me before booking so we can determine whether the class is appropriate for you.

Wheelchair accessibility

Our building has a lift, and there is only one small step at the entrance, which I’m happy to help with. Once inside, the apartment is all on one level, and you can comfortably take part in the class at a table of an appropriate height.

Language

The class is taught in English. If needed, I can also teach it in German, but please be a little patient with me — I’m still learning!

What's nearby?

After the class, take some time to explore the beautiful Pötzleinsdorfer Schlosspark, one of the loveliest green spaces in Vienna’s 18th district. With its old trees, open meadows and peaceful walking paths, it’s a beautiful place for a stroll in any season.

If you’re visiting in summer, the Schafbergbad is less than a 10-minute walk away. This popular outdoor swimming pool is known for its relaxed atmosphere and panoramic views over Vienna, a great way to spend the rest of a sunny afternoon.

Make a day of it

After the class, you can explore some of Vienna’s most charming green and wine-growing areas.

Take bus 40A towards Döbling and continue into the northern hills of Vienna, where you’ll find traditional Heuriger — Viennese wine taverns serving local wine and simple Austrian food. The nearby districts of Neustift, Sievering and Grinzing are among Vienna’s best-known wine areas and are a great choice if you want to continue your day with a glass of local wine.
